Good News:
I would like start off by saying how much everybody’s support of Cuck Fancer has meant to me. In these past four years, your support has encouraged me to make this, one time small home project, a non-profit and a big part of my life. I have licensed Cuck Fancer as a 501 © 3 non-profit in the state of California, and I have some high goals for this organization. I am in the process of making a new website and creating many more Cuck Fancer related products. (You can still purchase bracelets on this website). This organization is going to be focused on raising awareness for young adults who are diagnosed with cancer, primarily ages 18-27. We will have a mission statement and many new ideas to help this organization grow and become a useful tool in fighting the negative effects of cancer.
Bad News:
I have relapsed again. There isn’t much to say except that with a recent biopsy result, we know it is Hodgkin’s. The standard of care at this point is chemotherapy and then an allogeniac transplant. We will look for donors (MUD-match unrelated donor) when the time comes, as my doctor is confident we will find one. As for me, my spirits remain high. I will start treatment soon. I will continue to try and do what I do and not let this disease get to me. I have chosen to remain in school while undergoing treatment. This is good for me. I have found that the longer I can remain in my ‘normal’ life, the more normal I feel. The chemotherapy protocol I will be receiving is called SGN-35 (a new drug cocktail that specifically targets Hodgkin’s cells). It is given once every 3 weeks and is not supposed to have incredibly harsh side effects. Fingers crossed!
