Cuck Fancer
I know we haven’t talked in awhile, but don’t worry I am still kickin cancer’s ass and makin’ it my bitch. Since my last blog not too much has changed. It’s been the normal routine of chemotherapy. It hasn’t gotten any easier, but I guess I can at least say it has become a routine. I can predict most of the sickness (that seems to stay the same), but the recovery time after chemotherapy is less predictable. Some weeks I’m up and around the next day and then other weeks it seems like I’m down for days. It’s all-good though, 6 more to go. I remember that first blog which is hard to believe was only 3 months ago. It’s been a long three months, but only 3 more to go. That’s what I’m thinking about! I have been working at a winter camp the past couple weeks which is heaven for me. This camp was the last normal thing I did before I got diagnosed. It feels good to know that life will and can be normal again soon. The reason I am sending out this blog is that I wanted to let everybody know that I got my bracelets in the mail a couple days ago. I ordered 3000 of them, and hopefully after I sell all of them I will be able to donate close to $1700. I will be donating all of the money to the leukemia lymphoma society. They were the first people to reach out to my family and me and do an amazing job supporting not only the diagnosed, but their families as well. If you want to buy some bracelets, help me sell some, or just donate let me know and we can definitely work something out. I’m excited because it’s important to me to spread awareness to people who might not know how fragile life is and how important organizations like the Leukemia lymphoma Society are, making possible the research and recovery I’m benefiting from. AND I think the bracelets are just fucking awesome. E-mail me and let me know what you want to do, and we can talk.
With love and the greatest gratitude to all of you who have made this roller coaster ride a bit less nauseating,
Ben
